Spirit week/ Red Ribbon week is around the corner, and I wanted to let you know about the exciting activities that our fantastic Student Government class has planned in conjunction with Volunteers of America (VOA). This year's Red Ribbon Week theme is "YOLO" - You Only Live Once.

  •  Monday 10/24  Jersey Day- At lunch VOA will be here to assist with a scavenger hunt. The goal will be for our students to find an undercover YOLO agent to win a pair of ear buds.
  •  Tuesday 10/25 Western Wear-  During Lunch VOA will have a table in the commons for students to create their own "badge of honor" to wear.
  •  Wednesday 10/26 Mix and Match- Before school student government will be in the halls handing out YOLO bracelets.
  •  Thursday 10/27 Hawaiian Day- At Lunch VOA will be here to hand out Leis.

Monday 10/31  School Wide Assembly (12:50-1:25)- As the culminating event to Red Ribbon week, Tad Sumner a local expert on adolescents and resiliency will be here to speak to our students about healthy lifestyles. During the Assembly we will also host a short "Hot Shot" basketball competition.   Each player will have 30 seconds to score as many baskets as possible. The team with the most points wins.

Monday 10/31  Halloween Dance (1:30-2:45) - The dance will be held in the cafeteria, concessions will be open in the lower commons.
